Adding a new Book
Adding new books is easy. Select ‘Add book’ from the sub-navigation and you’ll be delivered to the Create new book page where you can set up new books.
You’ll be invited to add the book’s title, synopsis, publisher, contributors and be presented with the option to include a default copyright license in your output files if you like.
Let’s look at each of these in detail:
This is what you call your book. The title can be as short or as long as you like, but it should give an indication of what the book is about. Don’t worry if you’re not sure of your title yet. You can use a working title and amend it later on.
Synopsis & formatting the synopsis
A good synopsis is a descriptive piece of text that helps prospective readers to understand what your book is about. You can choose to include the synopsis in your .epub/PDF output files and the back of your book when you publish it. You can use Markdown text and Storytella text styling commands in this field.
This is your name, unless you are writing under several different pen-names who you’d prefer to unite with one publisher.
